These are six bibles I am showing, and they are the English Revised Version of 1881-1885, the American Standard Version of 1901, Revised Standard Version 1952, New International Version 2011 ( formerly the TNIV and the NIV before that), New King James Version 1982, and the New American Standard Bible 1995 (yet another edition) Notice the changes made in each one...I am using Genesis 3:1-3 Psalm 2:11-12, and Revelation 22:7,12, and 20 for reference. Compares these verses with your KJV and see the "oddly distorted words, as some contradict other versions and the KJV. They can't agree with each other. So let me ask you. How can these versions be God's words when we know he is not the God of confusion? How can you trust these bibles that are constantly changing? Below are the verses used in the AV 1611 (KJV) for a reference. Genesis 3 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV) 3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Psalm 2 11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. Revelation 22 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
